Juno Cabernet Sauvignon is a distinguished red wine produced in South Africa, specifically from the Western Cape region. The grapes were sourced from vineyards located in Stellenbosch in the Western Cape on mainly clay-loam soil.

WINEMAKING:

The Grapes were handpicked and cold-soaked for 24 hours. Fermentation was initiated with selected yeast strains and kept under 26°C. Malolactic fermentation was completed in tank. 80% of the wine was matured for 12 months in six-year-old 225L barrels and 20% in new 225L French and American.

TASTING:

A beautiful deep red color, this wine is a smooth red blend that perfectly combines the more masculine structure of Cabernet Sauvignon with soft, gentle tannins of Merlot. The nose entices with subtle tobacco leaf, green pepper and fynbos, opening up to an abundance of mulberry. A fresh, elegant palate with a long, smooth finish.
