Bullnosing, Cranking, and Curving are specialized processes used in the roofing industry to shape and modify profiled sheets for various architectural applications. These techniques enhance the aesthetic appeal and functional performance of roofing systems

Key Features

Bullnosing: This process involves creating a rounded edge at the end of a sheet, which can be positioned at any point along the length of the sheet. Bullnoses are typically manufactured with a radius ranging from 350mm to 800mm, accommodating bends from 0° to 135°. The standard bullnose is made with the narrow flute uppermost, while reverse bullnoses bend into the flute.
Cranking: Cranking refers to bending sheets to create angles or curves, which can be either standard or center cranks. The maximum height after cranking can reach up to 2m, with a total sheet length limitation of 10m due to handling constraints.
Curving: This technique allows for smooth transitions in roofing profiles. It can be performed using a rolling process for corrugated sheets, achieving a smooth finish. The minimum radius for curving varies based on material thickness, with some materials requiring a minimum radius of 600mm to 900mm.
