Repositionable Breast Localization Needles (BLN) are specialized medical devices used in breast surgery and radiology procedures to accurately locate and mark areas of concern within breast tissue. These needles are designed to provide precise guidance for surgeons or radiologists to target specific regions for biopsy or surgical excision. 

Unlike conventional localization needles, which are typically fixed in place once inserted, repositionable BLN offer the advantage of adjustability. This means that if the initial placement of the needle is deemed suboptimal or if further refinement is required, it can be easily repositioned without the need for additional needle insertions. This flexibility enhances the accuracy of the procedure and minimizes patient discomfort.

Repositionable BLN typically consist of a thin, flexible needle with a localization wire attached to its tip.
