Winemaking Process

The winemaking process begins with hand-harvested grapes, ensuring the selection of the finest fruit. Fermentation occurs in small open-top oak vats, with about 20% of the total crush fermenting naturally while the remainder uses a commercial yeast. Regular pump-overs and manual punch-downs are conducted during fermentation to maximize flavor extraction. After fermentation, the wine is aged in French oak barrels for 18 months, with 30% of the barrels being new and the rest in second, third, and fourth fill barrels. Each varietal is handled separately until the final blend is created.

Anura Syrah Mourvédre Grenache Reserve offers a powerful and complex flavor profile. The nose is rich with aromas of black cherry, mulberry, and blackcurrant, enhanced by subtle notes of dried peaches and star anise. On the palate, it presents a smooth and full-bodied experience with flavors of ripe dark fruits, spice, and hints of cigar box. The finish is long and satisfying, marked by lingering notes of dried fruits and spice.
