You surf for the pleasure of being in the water and for the feeling you get from it. During your sessions, you often fall but you fall in waves that are not very powerful. We have designed a wide range of products for you, to suit your occasional practice and your body shape.
HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT WETSUIT (PART 1)
The first selection criterion when choosing a surfing wetsuit is the water temperature.
Water temperature varies according to the location and the time of the year.
Systematically make sure that the water temperature at your spot corresponds to the recommended temperature range:
Warm water above 20°C.
Temperate water between 17 and 22°C.
Cold water between 12 and 17°C.
Very cold water between 7 and 12°C.

COLLAR
The neck finish has been developed to limit irritation. According to the sensitivity of the wearer, a UV top can be worn under the wetsuit to reduce the risk of irritation. The application of grease (e.g. Vaseline) in friction areas (neck, underarms, knees) is also recommended if wearing the wetsuit for long periods.

Whether you be a surfer or enjoy bathing in the sea, you don’t want to lose your swimsuit! This is why we test all our swimsuits in the waves. Each model is designed for surfing and perfectly suits other water sports: stand-up paddle boarding, sailing, kite surfing, bathing, etc.
BODY SHAPE
With its very feminine halterneck cut, the Clea 1-piece swimsuit suits all body shapes. The plunging V-neckline is ideal for women who want to highlight their bust. The detachable padded cups built into the swimsuit redefine the curve of the bust. The back and shoulders are open. The seams under the bust guarantee a harmonious silhouette. STAYS IN PLACE IN THE WAVES: THE TEST
We design swimsuits that promise to stay in place in the waves. To test them, we use a panel of female surfers with different body shapes who will follow a test protocol in a pool at our design offices in Hendaye. This protocol aims to reproduce the sensations experienced by surfers when being thrown around by a wave. If this test is conclusive, we go surfing in the sea to test our swimwear in real conditions.

We strive to support women to ensure they feel comfortable in our swimwear. The chest is not squashed, the buttocks are not emphasised, coverage levels vary. Our mission is to ensure that every woman finds a swimming costume that suits her, whatever her body type or size.
WHAT ARE PADDED CUPS?
Shaped cups built in to the swimsuit top are flattering for your bust and sculpt your breasts into a rounded shape without having visible seams and avoiding irritation as opposed to cut and stitched foam pads. Olaian has kept you and your comfort in mind by favouring the use of padded cups in most of its models. The padded cups may be removable and, if so, they let you go up or down a half size.
