Key Features

  • MOQ 2 Sets
  • Inflow: Water containing suspended solids enters the filter's central chamber.
  • Radial Flow: The water is directed outwards in a radial pattern, creating a gentle flow that allows heavier particles to settle at the bottom.

A radial flow filter, often referred to as a RFS, is a filtration device that utilizes a specific flow pattern to effectively remove suspended solids from water. It's commonly used in wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and other applications where water clarity and particulate removal are essential.

A radial flow filter, often referred to as a RFS, is a filtration device that utilizes a specific flow pattern to effectively remove suspended solids from water. It's commonly used in wastewater treatment, aquaculture, and other applications where water clarity and particulate removal are essential.

How Does it Work?

Inflow: Water containing suspended solids enters the filter's central chamber.

Radial Flow: The water is directed outwards in a radial pattern, creating a gentle flow that allows heavier particles to settle at the bottom.

Sedimentation: The settled particles accumulate at the bottom of the filter, forming a sludge layer.

Outflow: The clarified water, now free from most of the suspended solids, exits the filter at a peripheral location.

Key Features and Benefits:

High Efficiency: Radial flow filters are highly effective at removing a wide range of suspended solids, including grit, sand, and organic matter.

Low Maintenance: The design often incorporates features that minimize the need for frequent cleaning or backwashing.

Energy Efficiency: Many RFS systems operate on gravity, reducing the energy consumption compared to other filtration methods.

Versatility: Radial flow filters can be adapted to various applications and sizes, from small-scale residential systems to large-scale industrial installations.

Cost-Effective: In the long term, the efficiency and low maintenance requirements of RFS systems can make them a cost-effective choice.
