African stools have been part of age-old folklore and are considered a symbol of authority. Kings and chiefs used them to depict status, power and succession.
We chose to immortalise the African Stool by carving salvaged logs into carved wood side tables.
Our range of carved log stools is handmade in Kenya and comprises of; Bakora, Hour Glass, Wine Glass, Mguu Mbili and Charred Bottom. They’re ideal as accent tables or side tables.

To preserve its heritage, we chose to immortalize the African stool by carving reclaimed tree trunks into functional accents in home décor.
It is not limited to these designs and can be adapted to any viable shape. However, color deviations and other imperfections are due to the properties of wood.
